Château Élan Vineyard Fest 2026
One Day. Thousands of Guests. Plenty of Surprises.
Live Engraving · Retail Experience · Braselton, Georgia
We came prepared with an assortment. The guests rewrote the plan.
Two days at Vineyard Fest gave Sage & Silva something more valuable than a successful market: a front-row seat to how people shop when they can see, touch, personalize, and compare everything in real time.
Some of the products we expected to lead didn't.
Some of the products we brought only a handful of disappeared.
And one of the biggest items at the bar became the second sale of the weekend.
By Sunday afternoon, the assortment looked very different—and so did our understanding of what guests wanted from Sage & Silva.
The Brief
Bring Sage & Silva and The Live Engraving Bar into a large-scale festival environment without losing the intimacy of personalization.
With thousands of guests expected across two days, the assortment needed to work hard: products had to feel special enough to stop someone walking by, practical enough to carry through the festival, and fast enough to personalize without creating a bottleneck.
The goal wasn't simply to sell engraved goods.
It was to find out what happens when the product, the personalization, and the making all happen in the same place.
THE EXPERIENCEGuests encountered a full Sage & Silva assortment ranging from smaller boards and coaster sets to drinkware, flask sets, gifting packages, and a three-foot statement board.
Suggested personalization designs gave guests a starting point without taking away the ability to make something their own. Once a selection was made, The Live Engraving Bar handled the final layer—often in two minutes or less.
And then the unexpected requests started.
A custom sign that wasn't part of the physical assortment became a $100 order.
A cigar made its way to the engraving bar as an experiment.
And throughout the weekend, guests weren't only asking, “How much is this?”
They were asking:
“Can you engrave this?”
That's the Vineyard Fest story.

THE GUESTS VOTEDThe biggest lesson of Vineyard Fest wasn't simply what sold.
It was what people chose when everything was sitting in front of them.
Five flask sets came to the festival. Five left with guests.
The only three-foot statement board sold as the second order of the weekend—and guests continued asking about it long after it was gone.
Coaster sets quietly became one of the strongest sellers.
Meanwhile, products we expected to perform differently told another story. Mini paddle boards moved slowly. Tumblers regularly received some version of the same response:
“I already have so many.”
And the smallest package wasn't necessarily the easiest sell.
Guests consistently gravitated toward products and combinations that felt more substantial.
The assumption had been that accessible would mean smaller.
Vineyard Fest suggested something else:
When something feels personal, people may be willing to make it significant.
What We Carried Forward
Bring more of what feels substantial.
Don't confuse a lower price with an easier yes.
Give guests a starting point. Suggested designs make personalization easier, not less personal.
Depth matters. Five flask sets weren't enough when five people wanted them.
Not every familiar product needs to lead the assortment. Sometimes “I already have one” is useful information.
And keep experimenting.
Because after engraving a cigar in the middle of a vineyard festival, the list of things we can't engrave is getting significantly shorter.
